The Swedish classic massage is a world-famous full-body massage that increases circulation and relieves physical tension in the body. Massage does not only provide physical profits. It generally increases well-being, stimulates the production of oxytocin, lowers blood pressure, affects the nervous system and improves sleep.
By the way, the time spent on the massage table is one of the best investments we can make for our body (and soul). Touch, stillness and attention, and even a little softness and care, are what we actually need most, especially in an individualised, rushing time. We also need training, challenges, speed, but it is the quiet moments and slow, deep breaths that gives you genuine relaxation and recovery.
Classic Swedish massage is an in-depth, complex treatment. Through kneading, sliding and pressure provides a pleasant and comfortable relaxation. I work with several methods and usually massage is personalised, depending on your needs. It can be harder, deeper, with clear pressure, or softer, more relaxed, to give you deep rest, calm and recovery.
Regular massage keeps fatigue and pain away. You feel calmer, softer and more bodily flexible.
Research shows that massage reduces anxiety, lowers stress hormones, can reduce complications during childbirth and also helps you feel better after giving birth. Massage stimulates the production of oxytocin- a neuropeptide, a substance that helps you relieve pain, speed up the healing of wounds and injuries, lower your heart rate, blood pressure and levels of stress hormones. It also helps your skin and muscles to adapt to the changes in your body that occur during pregnancy. This is simply über beneficial! What follows physical comfort is mental peace and lightness.
Massage, which you can start with from the 13th week until just before the birth, is a great way to take care of you and your body during the 9-month journey with changes on both physical and emotional levels.
In addition, it is simply nice to do something extra nice, soft and caring for your body. Especially during this time of constant change.
Therefore, and for lots of other barking, and to simply treat yourself, welcome all expectant mothers to the massage.
IT WILL BE BEST TO CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR / NURSE IF YOU MAY HAVE A MASSAGE.

MTB massage therapy is an in-depth treatment, concentrated on a specific area, such as back pain, tense shoulders, lumbar spine, etc. It is often called sport massage or therapeutic massage.
To help you with the problems you are looking for, I perform some muscle tests that enable precision in assessment. Throughout the process, I work directly on the muscles that are tense and hard.
In addition to massage and muscle stretching, trigger points can also be included in the treatment, as they are the most common cause of pain in muscles and joints. With pressure, massage and muscle stretching, these points can stop their pain projection. After the treatment, you will feel more mobile and relaxed.
The methods used during treatment are:
- Classic Swedish massage
- Deep sports massage
- Lunging
- Strain and counter strain
- myofascial massage
- Post-isometric relaxation
Usually a combination of different treatment methods is done to get the best result.
After the treatment, I usually recommend any rehab exercises.
NOTE:
The time is allocated to both anamnesis (background history), tests and the manual treatment, which gives different lengths of time for the various steps.
However, more treatments may be needed to become more pain-free in the long run!
Lomi Lomi is a Hawaiian ancient traditional massage and ritual that has its origins in the Huna philosophy of life. It is based on slow and rhythmic movements with forearms that mimic the waves of the sea or the harmonious flapping of birds’ wings.
Hawaiians believed, that imbalance and disharmony in energy flow cause tension, anxiety, and disease. Lomi Lomi role is to help restore inner and bodily harmony, set balance in meridians, integrate the senses and give a feeling of unity with nature, space and everything around us. Awaken a love for oneself so you finally, in time, understand your own place and role in the universe.
Sometimes the body becomes like an ice cube. Firm, hard and cold. Tense and emotionless, blocked by painful traumatic memories. Lomi Lomi soothes you and becomes like a sun that melts this piece of ice, or like a press that crushes the hardest pieces that do not want to give up. You soften, relax, recover both physically and mentally.
Lomi Lomi helps to re-create a relationship with your own body. Feel it again and find your inner balance and peace. This massage is a ceremony, an initiation where you become yourself again.
Tactile treatment is a soft and calm massage, which alternates structured movements with stillness. The method is used to create well-being and reduce stress, anxiety and long-term pain (such as fibromyalgia causes).
The treatment consists of soft massage grips on bare skin with an oil. You are embedded in soft towels and blankets. The treatment creates a feeling of security and peace, which increases well-being and inner peace.
This method of massage is practiced in both wellness, rehabilitation and nursing and is recommended to anyone who needs time for relaxation and recovery. Tactile massage has documented good effects in people with fibromyalgia, rheumatic and stress-related diseases, as well as burnout.
TMJ dysfunction, sometimes called TMD, is a collective term for a range of symptoms related to problems with the jaw and jaw joint.
In the 80’s bruxism was a disease of middle-aged high-performing leadership profiles or people suffering from PTSD. Today, it no longer applies to a specific group, because the pace and demands of life cause enough stress so more or less all socio-groups suffer from some kind of jaw joint problem. TMD affects one in four of us because, among other things, it is one of the most widely used joints in the body. We use the jaw not only when we eat or talk, but also stress and unexpressed emotions affect this area to a great extent. It is usually when you wake up sore in the face and with a headache when you start seeking help.
Massage therapists are usually the last point of contact for TMJ sufferers, after the dentist and / or doctor. But there are so many amazing massage techniques that can be used to treat TMJ symptoms – and causes – easily and effectively.
As with all treatments, we start with a consultation and – specifically for TMJ – an assessment of the jaw, followed by a postural assessment to understand which possible muscle imbalances may affect TMD.
During the treatment, I use soft tissue massage, trigger point therapy and fascial release to remove blockages in the tissues and bring the functionality back to the body. The treatment ends with a massage of the neck and finally a scalp massage, to further release tension.
Treating in this non-invasive way reduces the need for traditional and sometimes extensive dental care, while significantly reducing pain. Many who have decided on this treatment have reported significant progress after three or four consecutive meetings; many feel relief after the first session.
Reasons to book this treatment:
- Soreness in the joint when touching or moving
- Pain when chewing food
- Bruxism (gnashing of teeth)
- Limited range of motion
- Headache / migraine
- Tinnitus or undiagnosed earache
- Undiagnosed toothache
- Tight neck and shoulders
- You wake up with a headache and are stressed.
- You have a dull, aching pain in the temple or over the forehead. It is common to have pain already when you wake up.
- Your teeth are cracking. Small tooth cracks allow it to rush into the tooth. Deeper cracks can cause pain and tenderness.
Unlike the heart, the lymphatic system does not have a pump to push it around the body, so the lymph [a clear fluid that moves through your body’s arteries and tissues to clean them, before draining them through the lymphatic system] relies primarily on our body’s muscle action and movement to maintain its fluid movement.
Lymphatic drainage is a manual massage technique that works on the lymphatic system, stimulating it to work quickly by moving the lymph to the lymph nodes [throughout your body, but largely located in your neck, armpits, and groin]. Its main function is to accelerate the process of removing the accumulated liquid between the cells and their catabolic [aka breakdown of] residues, directing them to the capillary vessels and, through specific movements, [onward] so that they are eliminated.
The benefits of lymphatic drainage are extensive, mainly in the transport and removal of stagnant fluids, but it also:
- Stimulates blood circulation and tissue regeneration
- Directs and increases lymphatic flow, promoting faster removal of excess interstitial fluid
- Reduces swelling and water retention
- Improves the immune system due to the important elimination of toxins
- Minimizes the appearance of cellulite by reducing the amount of fluid that presses up against the cross-hatched fibers beneath your skin
- Promotes body and mental relaxation
- Provides an overall lightness in the body
- Energizes the body
It is recommended to do a therapy of 5 treatments for a shorter period of time (3-4 weeks) and then to repeat the massage once a month (in addition to self-care of course).
Important! It is important to drink plenty of water (or other beverage rich in minerals) before and after the treatment, to help the lymphatic system get rid of toxins.
